About Me.

I began my piano lessons at age 5 with Mrs. Beatrice Orr in Baltimore, Ohio.  At age 12 we added voice to my studies.  I have enjoyed music all my life.  As a first grader I was asked to draw a picture of what I wanted to do as an adult and I drew a piano teacher.  I competed in Ohio Music Educators Solo and Ensemble competitions from 7th grade through 12th grade.  I was the accompanist at my small church for 6 years which made me learn to sight read music out of necessity.  I sang in the All Ohio Youth Choir at the Ohio State Fair in 1965 and was an accompanist for the All Ohio Youth Choir European Tour in 1966.  I am married to my college sweetheart.  We have 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
